Sou de Algodão/Cotton Brazil

Empowering Sustainable Fashion through Inclusive Storytelling

Challenge

In 2017, Cotton Brazil's "Sou de Algodão" movement sought to reinforce its commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, and conscious fashion. The goal was to engage the fashion industry more deeply, emphasizing cotton's role as a democratic, inclusive, and sustainable fiber.

Our objective was to create and launch Manifesto 2.0 for the Sou de Algodão movement, clearly positioning cotton as an accessible, inclusive, and responsible choice within the Brazilian fashion industry.

Solution

We developed Manifesto 2.0 highlighting cotton's inherent inclusivity. We cast diverse models representing different ethnicities, backgrounds, and abilities to authentically illustrate the inclusive essence of cotton. Our comprehensive campaign included a manifesto film, engaging social media content, and targeted presentations designed for industry stakeholders and fashion designers, advocating conscious consumption of natural fibers.

Result

The initiative resonated powerfully within the fashion community, significantly strengthening the movement's recognition and influence in the Brazilian fashion industry. Engagement levels rose notably, enhancing awareness and preference for sustainably produced cotton.
